This is now the 2nd posting in about 2 weeks where you have included a Yusuf Islam Video.

Sure, there's nothing objective about music taste, but surely you are not suggesting that YI can be grouped in the same class as Lennon, Baez, Taylor and Dylan, especially Lennon & Dylan?

YI's 'Wild World' and 'Morning Has Broken' are classics and his 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' was a resounding success for Rod Stewart most of all. But beyond those? Not much!

Anyway the 2 YI songs you have featured are very forgettable and the lyrics quite contrived. That's my 2 cents worth.

Imagine is a song which contains the most trite, Leftist/Utopian nonsense of any of the intelligence-insulting mush produced during that period.

Bob Dylan's so-called poetry is just the usual Jewish, anti-host-people verbiage designed to appeal to nitwit liberals and peaceniks. So many "American" Jews protested against the Vietnam War and swore by "peace and love" until their true homeland, Israel, was attacked, then they swiftly rushed off to join the IDF (Israeli Defence Force) as the bloody murderers style themselves. Believe the Jew and be a dupe for life.

Heart of Gold was much appreciated. Thank you, Dr Azly. The impressive lead guitar may well have been that of Nils Lofgren. Neil Young's unwarranted Canadian intrusion into 1970's US politics was firmly dealt with by the superior logic (and musicality) of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Sweet Home Alabama'.
