as nature serenades

"As Nature serenades "
by azly rahman

from Nature we come
unto Nature we shall be returned
in the sea of love we drown
in between breaths we frown
of what Man has done to Man
shall we leave Fate to deal with things asunder?
or destroy things and build them anew entire?

the rich trampled upon the poor
like cannibals they feast to their greed's desire
the name of god they use to set the world on fire
with kings and queens the vultures conspire
speak not in tongues of democracy
for i shall display how your inner demons
in this game of conspiracy
you stole from Nature
and turn it into a caricature
you use your tools
to prey on fools
you build towers of power
and spit upon the poor at every height you climb
to feed your Desire
down the rakyat's throat you shove money aplenty
in this land of milk and honey
pus and blood these offerings will turn into
when truth comes galloping in
destroying politics
of the old and new
Nature awaits
as Man complicates
